ESI Integrity Enters into Agreement with the Oregon State Lottery to Supply an Independent Control System
Vancouver, BC, February 5th, 2008— ESI Integrity Inc. (a wholly owned subsidiary of ESI Entertainment Systems Inc. (TSX:ESY)) today announced that it has entered into an agreement with the Oregon State Lottery to supply its industry-leading Integrity Independent Control System (ICS) to the lottery.
The Integrity ICS Services Agreement with the Oregon Lottery is cumulatively valued at approximately US$480,000 over a contract term of seven years. Under the terms of the agreement the Integrity ICS will continuously and independently monitor both the lottery’s online and instant ticket games. In addition, ESI will administer product release updates and supply 24/7 technical support to the Oregon State Lottery for the system.
“Through our competitive procurement process, ESI Integrity Inc. was identified as the successful bidder with the highest total score on its proposal”, noted Dale Penn, Director of the Oregon Lottery. “We are now happy to have concluded our agreement with ESI and we look forward to a successful deployment of their system in the coming months.”
ESI Integrity received the Notice of Award from the Oregon State Lottery in 2007 as a result of a comprehensive competitive procurement process undertaken by the Lottery. The Oregon State Lottery represents ESI Integrity’s twelfth (12th) account within the US government lottery sector, and nineteenth (19th) lottery customer worldwide. Additionally, ESI systems monitor race wagering throughout Canada, the State of Florida, and elsewhere in the USA.
