e-Success To Supply Independent Monitoring
Systems To Autotote Customers
e-Success Systems To Monitor 65% of All Pari-Mutuel Wagering in North
America
VANCOUVER, BC, December 3, 2002 – e-Success Incorporated announced
today that it has entered into an agreement with Autotote Systems,
Inc. a subsidiary of Scientific Games Corporation, to supply its Integrity
Independent Monitoring System to all of Autotote’s US customer sites.
The systems will be delivered to, and used by, the respective racing
associations and their regulators to independently monitor the operation
of the Autotote wagering systems. The deployment of the systems shall
commence immediately, with the first systems to be installed in December
2002.
The Integrity Monitoring System – the first of its
type in the world – independently monitors every wagering transaction
flowing through the totalizator system in real-time. Integrity will
independently check the validity of each transaction, compile pool
totals, and confirm winning tickets. As well, the system provides
tools for detecting and analyzing potentially fraudulent activity
as it occurs, and produces a variety of reports that provide independent
audit results for all betting conducted. The system is currently being
deployed to monitor all tote systems in Canada, including those supplied
by Autotote. The Integrity technology is also utilized in monitoring
numerous State Lottery systems both in the USA and overseas, including
all of the lottery systems supplied by Scientific Games through Scientific
Games International, its lottery subsidiary.
Autotote Systems, Inc. is the largest supplier of wagering systems and services to racetracks and off-track facilities. Of the estimated $20 billion wagered on pari-mutuel racing in North America each year, Autotote Systems Inc. processes approximately 65%.
